DESCRIPTION
Flutist Ms. Katalin Szanyi gave me an opportunity of having me compose a very joyous piece for her
graduation concert held in June 2013. The title of composition 'Kata' has double meanings. One is
her nickname. The other is the formation of Joy in Japanese language.
I am fully dedicated to Katalin Szanyi based on this piece '' Kata'' .Her request had me think of
making a joyful music. I have therefore a great honor and joy to compose this piece for her concert.
Without Katalin, this piece would never have existed. Thinking of her beautiful personality and loving
attitude about her life, the melodies came up to my mind very easily. While I was composing this
piece, I was imagining how it would be to lead the happiest life and to praise my life. I truly enjoyed
composing this piece as I also gained the joyful feelings by creating this requested piece by her. I
am most grateful for the fact that I have met her in my life as a composer. Without her, I would not
have had to compose this Music. She reminded me of joy coming out of music.
