Ryan Of Top YouTube Channel Ryan ToysReview Unboxed His Own Line At Toy Fair
February 19, 2018  |  Tubefilter  |  See recent Tubefilter news »

Across nearly three years of videos, a young kid named Ryan has played with hundreds of toys to the delight of his millions-strong audience. Now, Ryan has a toy line of his own. The six-year-old star of the Ryan ToysReview YouTube channel showed up at last weekend's Toy Fair in New York City, where he unboxed a line featuring his likeness.

The toy line in question was born out of a pact between Pocket.Watch, which is partnered with Ryan and his family, and a pair of toy companies: Bentex Group and Bonkers Toys. The items in the line include fire trucks, cars, and spaceships driven by Ryan; Ryan in a superhero costume; and Ryan as an astronaut.

During his appearance at Toy Fair, Ryan took some time to unbox all of the new toys that feature his likeness. A video depicting his reaction to his new playthings was shared by ABC News.

Ryan, whose primary YouTube channel has attracted more than 12 million subscribers and has received more than 19 billion views in just three years, is among the top family-friendly destinations on the world's top video site.

That honor belongs to Felix 'PewDiePie' Kjellberg, who hit 10 billion views all the way back in 2015, almost seven months before anyone else could catch up.

To kick off the New Year, we decided to take a look at the most viewed channels on YouTube heading into 2018 - one that's likely chock full of unfamiliar faces. From a Turkish music video powerhouse to family-friendly Minecraft players to Russia's most beloved cartoon, check them out in all their glory below.

April 13, 2017  |  Tubefilter  |  See recent Tubefilter news »

It's another installment of the Top 100 Most Viewed YouTube Channels Worldwide and the world still watches a LOT of Indian programming.

Chart Toppers

T-Series held onto its first-place position on the most-viewed YouTube channels chart for the seventh month in a row. The YouTube home for the self-proclaimed "largest music label and movie studio" in India becomes one of the only channels in recent memory to amass over a billion views in a month. The YouTube powerhouse ended the 31 days of March with almost 1.18 billion views. Not too far behind is Ed Sheeran. The online video destinatiointernational pop star who calls the UK home is only the second channel in recent memory to hit 10-digit views in a month's timeframe. Sheeran's all-at-once upload strategy of 14 tracks from his third and latest studio album and other relatively new massive hits (like the Lyric and Official Music Videos of his popular track "Shape of You") helped his channel to almost 1.04 billion views in the month.

In an now-distant third place is Ryan ToysReview. The aging toddler's repository of playtime footage and unboxing videos jumped up a modest 6% to top out at more than 760.5 million views throughout the month. Not too far behind in the #4 spot is WorkpointOfficial. The Thai media company's outpost on the world's largest video-sharing site shot up 58% in its monthly view count to top out at almost 721.5 million views on the month.

Top Gainers

The honor of one of our our Top Gainers this month goes Lego.

The company behind the ubiquitous plastic construction toys near and dear to the hearts and minds of millions of children and adults around the globe had a great month on YouTube. Lego's channel always does relatively well in terms of views thanks to a prolific output of live-action building videos and animated shorts in a multitude of languages. March was a particularly good month, however, due to a handful of standout hits. Uploads like this Beauty and Beast retelling with Lego figures, this original Brick Boss series, and this Lego Minecraft adventure all scored view counts in the multi-millions, pushing the Lego channel up to a 270% month-over-month increase in views, nearly 593.2 million views on the month, and the #7 spot on the worldwide chart.
